Where AI Fits in Life Sciences

AI becomes useful when it is given the right evidence, decision boundary, tools, and human control.

Not every workflow needs an AI agent. Many processes are better served by deterministic automation.

AI becomes interesting when a task requires context gathering, interpretation across imperfect evidence, and a decision that cannot be represented cleanly as one fixed rule.

A bounded loop

Observe → gather context → reason → recommend → approve when required → act through permitted tools → verify.

Start with the bottleneck

Ask where human judgment enters, what evidence is required, which decisions are reversible, which actions require approval, and what happens when evidence is incomplete.
